Spiked

After shipping a bunchof clothes away courtesy of eBay, I felt it was time to restock my wardrobe with a few little purchases:

After hunting after  Primarks Safari Jacket and having no luck my second love spikes won me over with this mesh polka dot spiked blouse! For only £12 ,I wish they had it in more colours:

Not often would I venture into Select clothing but after walking past and spotting this beaut in the window it was time for my first visit! After having the Topshop Suede Clutch costing £38 I couldn't believe this was only £6.80 with 15% student discount! I will be keeping my little eye on this shop....

This blog post has reiterated how obsessed I am with studs and spikes, Worn by half of the towie cast the peplum style goes perfect with my disco pants I first ordered the white from Boohoo.com however since then MissGuided have introduced it in Khaki, Burgundy & Black however I think I'm going to go for this wine colour from EBay:

Once you have the real Disco Pants, its hard to go for the cheap alternatives, I gave the River Island pair a try however they were more like shiny leggings along the same lines for the Very duplicates! However the replica that comes out top are these from EBay, they don't have the fly or high pockets so look better with longer tops such as the peplum style above! American Apparel still wins by a mile but if you cant afford or want an alternative colour I would opt for these at under £10:

Military Chic

Khaki and Army Print have placed top when it comes to my fave Autumn/Winter trend since McQueen, Burberry Prorsum and Victoria Beckham introduced military themes to the catwalk. However the High Street has done just as well to embrace the trend:

Zara provided us with a military fix throughout the Safari Jacket with Leather Sleeves retailing at £79.99!! Unfortunately for us it sold super quick, as fashion favourites such as Olivia Paleremo and Louise Thompson from MIC were spotted wearing it

Thankfully Topshop, River Island and Primark  jumped on the bandwagon to offer us an almost identical alternative

River Island - £55
Topshop - £65
Primark - £35

I purchased Toppers version, 1 because Primarks is virtually impossible to get your hands on and 2 River Islands hadn't arrived in store yet! :( I think I prefer the River Island one however Topshop is handy as its available in petite and tall!!

Love our Love

The 21st Season has approached, so all my "1991" friends are throwing parties to celebrate, shame I missed it by a couple of months and have to wait till next year!! However what an excuse for plenty of party dresses to be bought. My friend Sarah had all the Girls round for a pre cocktail & champers party before heading to the most amazing location, known as the "caves" in Edinburgh!

I feel like I constantly go on about Topshop in this blog and should really divulge more into vintage and high street stores but I'm always drawn in!! The sale had been on for over a week, and I hate sales after the first few days as its normally dribs and drabs left and some companies continue bringing out old stock from years ago that you would have to be blind to buy! Never the less I had some time to kill before the train and spotted the "Love Fashion" Rail, I am in love with this little brand, and had to try a few of these on as they were dramatically reduced in Topshop. The outcome was two dresses:

Dress - Love @ Topshop, Belt - River Island, Shoes - Louboutin, Jewellery - H&M & Crystal Couture, Watch - Michael Kors

I picked the skater dress to wear to Sarah's 21st, originally £45 and reduced to £15 my mum would be proud of this steal!! The black mesh underskirt lifts the dress and gives it a more girly feel, I nipped in the waist with a black studded belt and team it with my Loubs, however they had to be swapped into my loyal JC's at around 11, as 5 hours in Louboutins is a killer, I salute Mrs Beckham for wearing them on a daily basis!!

Dress - Love @ Topshop, Belt - River Island, Jewelerry - Thomas Sabo, Pandora, H&M

Mint Green is my colour for summer, so at £15 I didn't even contemplate not buying it! As I know it a versatile piece and can be easily dressed up or down

The Gorgeous Birthday Girl, Serious Dress envy was going on, this amazing dress is from All Saints, Wedges - River Island, Yellow Bag - H&M
A trip to Edinburgh always means my fave hobby - shopping, although to be honest I do prefer Glasgow's shopping scene.. but Edinburgh's Maaaaassive Topshop beats any other Scottish store hands down!! My buy's in the Capital:

As you always get the best tan on your tummy, crop tops are a must to show off your sun kissed midriff and as It is only 1 week until I go on holiday I felt it was time to stock up!! meaning I did go about crop top shopper happy, but that is OK:

H&M Fashion Against Aid's Tribal Crop Top, I had to have.... makes me feel even better as 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects!

Secondly I have already collected a few of the cute plain Topshop crops, as they are so easy to team with high waisted shorts and maxi's! This one was winking at me to purchase it...

As Rihanna and Rita Ora have been rockin Topshop's little bralet tops I foolishly bought the wrong size in the Peace one, these are tiny made so unless you are flat chested I would defo recommend going a size up ! So I went to exchange and the worst happened...they were all sold out :( Feeling sorry for myself I opted for two styles named the "All Over Skull" & "Belief" Cant wait to wear the skull with my pleated leather skirt, studded lita's and little bowler hat, love when an outfit comes together!!

H&M's Fashion against aid's shorts are the bestest, amazing designs and purse friendly prices, So I had to get both! Tie Dye - £15 and Aztec £20

I am so regretting not buying more from the Fashion Against Aid's range, as it's flying off the shelves and by the time I'm back to Glasgow or Edinburgh, bets are on that its all sold out and the website stock levels are on the low! I never learn....

Purchases of the Week, Motel, Vivienne Westwood, Love, Never Fully Dressed

Scotland has witnessed all four seasons within one week, therefore making it difficult to shop for once! The question is do we go summery or wintery, for me summer style wins hands down!

Here are my shop's of the week

I have been swaying over Motels candy cane jeans, as I have the River Island alternative in black and white hanging in my wardrobe. However once trying them on in Mac and Posh, I found out they are the comfiest trouse ever, I could probably live in them! Only downside is unfortunately I don't look  good as this babe in them.

If I could I would have every single Love dress in my closet! My latest love spend went to the "Rainbow stripe flower print asymmetrical shirt dress" Its so cute on, I think I will have to team it with my studded JC's to give it a fierce edge.

I know I have posted about this shoe before, but Finally the Vivienne Westwood Mellisa Wedges are mine!! They have truly won me over with the bubblegum smell lingering every time I open my wardrobe.... If the sunshine would kindly make an appereance, so I can have bubblegum feet sooner rather than later.

Never Fully Dressed has finally combined my two favourites together yellow and a wrap dress!! The sheer yellow, will look amazing with my last season's river island blue floral wedges and I always team wrap dresses with a belt to nip in the waist!

Sorry about the quality of this Photo - Will post one of me in it once it arrives

Nail Art

Being un-blessed with little short fingers, it's become a necessity for me to get my talons extended and decorated on a regular basis!! Having experimented in numerous salons I have definitely found a little gem within Perth's City Centre in a Salon known as Red Earth.
This salon is a one stop shop for me, offering Fake Bake spray tans, Kooky Wraps, HD brows and Blink & Go lashes to name a few. Every three weeks I find myself back in their nail bar, deliberating over what nail art to go for this time, as there is so much choice!! My nail technician never fails to impress, even though I am overly picky and present them with difficult ideas to attempt!

Here are some of my fave designs they have created for me:

Rockstar Nails

Rockstar with feature nail

Rockstar Nails - Ruby Red & Bronze

Barbie Rockstar Nails - Pink & Silver

Rockstar Design's

Rockstar - Valentine Nails

 Rockstar - Pink Animal Print

Rockstar - Tiger Print

Pastel Nails

Pastel Nails - Cath Kidson Floral Print

My current nails are these beauts, I love them so much!! Maybe three weeks is not enough time to spend with them....
Pastel Nails - Stripes, Polka Hearts & Diamante

Its official I have became nail art obsessed, I could never go back to the original french manicure... I always feel that as long as your nails are beautified, you will feel one hundred times better!

Girls there is no excuse for bitten chipped nails... get it sorted!

Jeffrey Campbells Litas

I have been the worst blogger in the world of late, my page went into some sort of hibernation whilst uni work yet again ruled my life! However that is allllllll coursework in the hands of my tutors, leaving me with just one exam to go and plenty of blogging to get on with.

Anyway enough about my boring life, today I have decided to blog about my shoe of the moment Jeffrey Campbell's *Lita's*, if you are a follower of fashion like me you will have noticed they are everywhere! A Lita phenomenon has taken over the blogger world, as nobody can resist these beauts

J.C has not been shy why it comes to shades, patterns and embellishment, sooo much choice and I have yet to come across a pair I would not wear!

However as Spring is upon us my first pick was the "Towering black suede lace-up boots featuring a colourful butterfly print" as quoted by Nasty Gal... however be warned when purchasing from Nasty Gal the customs charges,I was charged roughly £35 and of course as they come beautifully delivered all the way from the U S of A they take a little while.

The Spiked ones are amazing, especially the Brick Red, however I have recently purchased the black studs from office, loving my study discount off them and speedy delivery!.... but it doesn't stop me oggling over the Red's online nearly every day!

Of course J.C hit the pastel trend on the head, with mints, pastel lace, lilac and the pair I want more than anything the pink fur! I can not find them anywhere so if anyone comes across them pleaaaaaase alert me.

Other styles include, patent, glitter, tartan, leopard print, snake print, checker board, denim, crochet, velvet, stars, galaxy and his latest collection for Black Milk. Its a bit sad that I can rattle off all of the styles from the top of my head, no doubt you will become as obsessed as I am sooner or later.

The best places to buy your J.C's from within the UK are Office, Harvey Nichols, Doll Boutique and Oxygen Boutique, a broader selection is available globally throughout Nastygal.com and Solestruck
