Boys have took the reigns when it comes to looking Dapper, Suits, Tuxedo's and of course the bow tie. Now its the girls turn!! Our very own Princess Diana braved the trend with a simple black bow! Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Brian Wolk & Claude Morais all offered bow tie alternatives on the catwalk and since then the bow tie has significantly evolved in shape, texture & colours.
Formerly associated with geeks, contemporary versions of the classic accessory have made them rather avant-garde, #GeekChic! No longer reserved for formal occasions and can now be worn with cute collared playsuits, shirts & dresses! The Kardashian clan became my main inspiration and since then many celebrities have followed suit such as Rihanna, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rachel McAdams and the one and only Beyonce!!
Next on my Bow Tie wishlist is Beyonce's Leather Studded Chain Robot & Brucling which retails in the state's for $68, however for a cheap alternative they are available to purchase at All Saints, swaggerandswoon.com and my favourite wee eBay shop

For £1.19 & free P+P you can afford to buy every colour & print, however be warned they do come all the way from Hong Kong so may take a couple of weeks!!
